The Yukon Territory - your next holiday destination!
The Yukon Territory is Canada’s northwesternmost Territory and has a surface of 480,000 sq km with only roughly 30,000 citizens. Whitehorse, the Territory’s capital, has 20,000 inhabitants and also represents the governing city of the Yukon.
The Tagish Wilderness Lodge is located on Tagish Lake in the Southeast of the Territory. The region is called Southern Lakes and consits of Marsh Lake, Tagish Lake, Little Atlin and Teslin Lake. This unique water system is also know for being the headwaters fo the mighty Yukon River which commences its journey after Marsh Lake. Tagish Lake itself is over 80km long and even stretches into Northern BC. The Lodge lies on its shore at about 27km from the village of Tagish, only accessible on water or through the air!
